About SKI Plano
The Plano ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ensuring every student in Plano ISD has the opportunities and support they need to thrive. Through community partnerships, we raise funds that enhance classrooms, empower educators, and provide student-focused programs beyond what public funding covers.
Our premier fundraising event, SKI Plano, has been a beloved community tradition for 30 years. This high-energy evening brings together parents, alumni, educators, business leaders, and supporters for live entertainment, great food, dancing, auctions, and raffles—all to champion student success across the district.
Each year, SKI Plano raises $350,000–$425,000 in essential, unrestricted support for programs like educator grants, robotics, fifth-grade camp scholarships, the Welcome & Enrollment Center, and the CORE Store, which provides free classroom supplies to teachers. These initiatives directly strengthen the learning experience for students across Plano ISD.
